The debtors—fashion retailers operating more than 320 stores in Canada and the U.S. specializing in women’s apparel and accessories with two widely recognized brands Garage and Dynamite and approximately $600 million in annual sales—earlier commenced insolvency proceedings in Canada (under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act) and filed their ancillary chapter 15 cases to enforce in the U.S. the relief granted in the Canadian proceedings.
