99 Cents Only Stores

Case Overview

On April 7, 2024, 99 Cents Only Stores and a number of affiliates filed chapter 11 cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware ("Bankruptcy Court"). On April 9, the Bankruptcy Court ordered that the cases be administratively consolidated under docket number 24-10719 ("99 Cents Only Cases"). J. Kate Stickles is the presiding judge.

 Committee Appointment

On April 19, 2024, the United States Trustee appointed a committee of unsecured creditors in the 99 Cents Only cases ("Committee"). Current members are EMCOR Facilities Services, Eggs Unlimited, Vistar Corporation, PepsiCo, Hueneme Bay Center and Veronica Segura. The Committee has selected Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones LLP ("PSZJ") as its counsel, subject to Bankruptcy Court approval. Bradford Sandler is the principal attorney at PSZJ responsible for this engagement.
