Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones Receives M&A Advisor Annual International Award for Sale of Noble House Home Furnishings

July 2024

The firm is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a winner of the M&A Advisor 15th Annual International Awards for its work in the sale of Noble House Home Furnishings to GigaCloud Technology. Each year, the coveted awards honor professionals whose activities set the standard for M&A transactions. PSZJ received the “Cross Border Deal of the Year ($50 MM to $100MM)" award.

PSZJ represented Noble House and certain of its affiliates in chapter 11 cases pending in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division. The debtor used its chapter 11 filing to effectuate a comprehensive sale and marketing process in connection with the going-concern sale of substantially all its assets. Through the firm’s efforts, the court approved bidding procedures and the designation of a stalking-horse bidder in the second week of the case, and subsequently approved a value-maximizing sale six weeks later.

Teddy Kapur, Max Litvak, Gregory Demo, and Benjamin Wallen were members of the PSZJ team that achieved this outstanding result.

“The International M&A Awards celebrate the power of global collaboration and the pursuit of valuable opportunities," says Roger Aguinaldo, Founder & CEO of The M&A Advisor. "In a world shaped by geopolitics and fueled by technological innovation, these awards honor the remarkable achievements of experts who transcend borders to unlock exceptional value.”

The 15th Annual International M&A Awards winners will be honored and celebrated during a prestigious Awards Gala, a highlight of the 2024 Leadership in Dealmaking Summit, to be held September 23 & 24, 2024, in New York City.
