U.S. Bankruptcy Court Recognizes and Enforces Third-Party Releases in Nexii Building Solutions Chapter 15 Bankruptcy Case

In the first such order issued after the recent Purdue Supreme Court decision, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware issued an order in Nexii Building Solutions's chapter 15 proceedings recognizing and enforcing an order of a Canadian court that provides for third-party releases. Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones serves as co-counsel to the foreign representative of Vancouver-based sustainable construction company Nexii Building Solutions, which sought bankruptcy protection in Canada under the CCAA.
