Majestic Star Casino

Representation of Majestic Star Casino and its affiliates as co-counsel in their chapter 11 cases in the District of Delaware. These cases involved approximately $650 million of debt obligations. The debtors collectively constitute a multi-jurisdictional gaming company that owns and operates two riverboat casinos located in Gary, Indiana, a casino and hotel located in Tunica County, Mississippi, and a casino located in Black Hawk, Colorado. The debtors collectively employ approximately 2,600 people, and as of October 31, 2009 their gaming properties operated 4,160 slot machines, 116 table games, 21 poker tables and 777 hotel rooms.
