Shirley Cho Selected to Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2025 “Top 100 Lawyers” List

The firm is pleased to announce that Shirley Cho has been selected for inclusion in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s annual list of the city’s “Top 100 Lawyers.” This recognition spotlights Los Angeles’s most outstanding lawyers, their achievements, and their contributions to the legal profession. Shirley and the other winners were honored at a ceremony in Los Angeles on April 17, 2025. 

Shirley’s profile in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s special issue highlights her work as counsel for dozens of official committees of creditors in a myriad of high-profile restructurings, including her recent representations of a multi-national biopharma company, Athenex, Inc., the official committee of unsecured creditors of Cineworld Group, and Daewoo Shipbuilding Marine Engineering in its $1.2 billion claim in Seadrill. The issue also recognizes her status as a U.S. bankruptcy law expert in foreign insolvency proceedings, noting that she is a regular speaker on insolvency topics around the world.
